The Brookings Institution is ranked as the most influential, most quoted, and most trusted think tank. Based on significant user and stakeholder research, we (Threespot) knew our audiences were time-strapped, on-the-move, and needed content in a variety of formats – from a short summary statement or highlights, to video clips, to long form downloadable content. In 2012, with those goals in mind, we created a more focused presentation that put the Brookings scholars, and their research, in the spotlight – bringing a more personal and accessible tone to the website – and meeting people where they are, with the content they want, through an adaptive site layout.
